I believe a photo session should be the highlight of your day, not a chore on your to-do list. My goal is simple: we’re here to make memories, and we’re going to have a blast doing it.
I love working with kids and keep our sessions fast-paced and engaging to capture those genuine, "in-between" candid moments alongside the classic posed shots you’ll love. We’ll lean into the incredible natural beauty that Durango and our surrounding areas offer, providing the perfect backdrop for your family to just be yourselves. My favorite part of the job? Hearing "That was actually fun!" at the end of every shoot.

Connect
So everyone feels comfortable and accustomed to each other, we’ll have a quick call to discuss locations, outfits, hopes for the session and how we can make your session perfect for your family.

Picture time
The big day! We’ll meet, talk, connect, and get to know each other. In the meantime, I will be preparing the equipment so we can jump right into it.

Delivering photos
In three or four weeks, you will receive your edited pictures, to see yourself in all your natural glory.
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Take a deep breath and try not to stress! My number one goal is for your family to actually enjoy the process. Think of this as a time to play and connect with your family while I document this specific, beautiful stage of your lives.

How many pictures will I receive?
While every session is unique and depends on the energy of the day, you can generally expect to receive between 75-100 high-resolution images. These will be delivered in an online gallery, making it easy for you to download, print, and share your favorite memories with family and friends.
Do you do couples photography?
Yes, absolutely! I love working with couples. Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, an anniversary, or "just because," I’m all about capturing the genuine connection and love between you two. Just like my family sessions, we’ll keep it moving, keep it fun, and make sure your gallery reflects your unique relationship.
What should I wear?
This is the most common question I get, and I’m here to make it easy! I always recommend choosing a color palette that complements the natural, earthy tones of our Durango landscape—think neutrals, soft pastels, or deep jewel tones.

Are you available outside of Durango?
Yes, I love an adventure! While I primarily shoot in the gorgeous areas surrounding Durango, I am more than happy to travel to your favorite location. For sessions outside of the immediate area, I simply charge a travel fee to cover gas and travel time. Reach out with your location ideas, and we can chat about the details!

Absolutely! I have lived in Durango for over 20 years and have spent much of that time exploring the beautiful nooks and crannies of this area. Whether you’re looking for mountain peaks, river views, or golden meadows, I know just the spot.
